5 Quick Additions To Your Hen’s Night to Make the Memories Last

A hen’s night is meant to be fun.

It is a night that isn’t meant to be taken too seriously, so the bride and all her closest friends can spend a night letting their hair down and escape from wedding planning stress.

If you’ve been put in charge of organising a hens’ for a bride-to-be, here are some easy tips to add a lot of fun and make it the night really feel like  a special event so if you’ve already found a great place to have your hen’s night here are some good tips to add those nice little bells and whistles.

Diamante transfers.

Iron on diamante transfers with words such as “Bride to be” and “Mother of the Bride” are a great way to make your group feel like an exclusive club once you hit the town.

There will be no-one at any club you visit that is in any doubt as to who is involved with the raucous hens’ night party – and remember, this night is all about making the bride the center of attention (whether she wants it or not).

Just iron them onto a t-shirt, vest or sash and you have a uniquely customised hens’ night outfit.

Stud scoring flash cards.

What would a hens’ night be without a little objectification of the male sex?

Hen’s nights always attract a lot of attention. Maybe it is the flashy accessories or maybe it’s just the effect of a big group of ladies drinking and having a lot of fun has on the less fair sex. Whatever the reason picking up a few packs of stud scoring flash cards is a great way to turn that attention into part of the fun for the night.

Nothing glues a group together better than an inside joke. With fun, you can rate each guy as to who is hot and who is so not!

Hens’ night gift bags.

We might have grown past the age where it is still seen as appropriate but, let’s be honest, party bags are still the best.

A hen’s night is the best excuse you’re going to get as an adult to indulge once again. Everyone likes to be gifted with things, and each girl in the group can take away great memories of the hens’ night with pre-made hen’s night gift bags that are available to purchase online.

These can contain items such as sashes, badges, miniature drinks, penis straws – you name it!

Pin the macho on the man.

Speaking of things we used to love as kids, everybody has heard of pin the tail on the donkey, right?

Why not take it up a notch with the hilarious adult version – pin the macho on the man! Trust us – putting an adult spin on your favorite childhood games is always a major hit.

Imagine a beautiful man stuck to the wall, and while blindfolded, you and the girls have to pin on his “macho”. With a few drinks thrown in you can’t lose.

Inflatable man.

No ritual is truly complete without a totem.

And what is a better totem for a hens’ night than a symbol of what the bride to be is leaving behind. Take one our inflatable men dolls with you from club to club. Make rules about who has to carry him – or maybe a rule that the last one to finish their shot has to dirty dance with him in the middle of the floor.

Hens’ night’s might usually have ‘no men allowed’ rules but we think you’ll find an inflatable man to be a hilarious exception that you’ll be more than willing to make.

10 Physical Reasons Why Your Sex Drive May be Diminishing before You’re Even Married

Not as interested in engaging in sexual activity as you once were? If you find that you’re dismissing your partner’s interest in sex, avoiding initiating it yourself or noticing you would rather read a magazine than heat things up between the sheets (for the fourth time this month), then you’re experiencing at least some time of physical and mental change that can decrease your sex drive.

Here are some common tips from some of the girls at one of brothels in Melbourne’s CBD why your sex drive may be diminishing.

  1. Relationship troubles

Let’s face it—every relationship comes with its share of disagreements and arguments. Romance is hardly top of the list after an intense tiff in which you can hardly stand to look at your partner, let alone have sex with them. Just about every couple has such moments. But when you find your relationship in the throes of constant bickering or more serious problems, waning sexual desire is not uncommon. Take a look at your relationship. Does it leave you feeling happy and interested in sex, or is it draining you and making romance something you rarely consider?

  1. Menopause

When you go through the menopause, your body produces less testosterone, which is referred to as the sex drive, hormone. Additionally, some of the physical changes associated with the menopause can make lovemaking more challenging—you may experience decreased blood flow to genital organs, diminished response to touch, discomfort during penetration due to thinning vaginal walls, and lessened vaginal lubrication.

  1. Stress

We all experience stress in life, but when it transcends the usual worries of bills or work issues, your love life can suffer. For example, a job loss or the death of a loved one can drain your energy so much so that sex is put on the backburner. Even happy occasions can create stress. A new job, promotion or a baby are common stressors that have the potential to zap libido.

  1. Eating junk food

Too much consumption of junk foods that include harsh chemicals, additives and excessive amounts of sugar can wreak havoc on more than your waistline—it can disrupt your interest in sex too. Sugar highs that ultimately lead to fatigue certainly don’t do your libido any good, nor do foods with a high salt content (since salt can constrict blood vessels and inhibit circulation, thereby reducing responsiveness to touch and undermining male sexual performance in particular).

  1. Too much alcohol consumption

Although sharing a bottle of wine seems to go hand in hand with creating a romantic environment, too much can create the opposite effect. Reaching for another glass of your alcoholic beverage of choice can impact on your nervous system and make you tired. As a result, you’ll be less interested in sex and may find it difficult to become aroused in the first place.

  1. Low self-esteem

Changes in your self-confidence can also lower your sex drive. Struggling with changes as a result of menopause, pregnancy, weight gain or weight loss can throw off your interest in sex due to negative self-talk. Even non-physical changes like a nagging boss or an upsetting personal experience can diminish your confidence levels. The stress that results can lower your self-esteem, leaving you feeing less desirable and therefore less inclined to head to the bedroom with your partner.

  1. Birth control

While birth control has its benefits, it has also left many experts with concerns. Some suggest that contraceptive hormones—namely ones called progestins—can lead to changes in the genital tissues and create central nervous system interactions that may lessen vaginal lubrication and diminish libido.

  1. Not getting enough sleep

Sleep is essential for recharging your batteries and helping your body stay healthy. As it turns out, sleep also plays a role in maintaining an active libido because it helps keep the stress hormone known as cortisol at bay. Since stress can diminish your sex drive, making sure you’re getting enough shut-eye is important. Getting by on just a few hours of sleep isn’t conducive to a healthy sex life.

  1. Health problems

If your desire for sexual activity is waning, it could be due to an underlying health issue. The problem may involve a hormonal imbalance or diabetes complications, but it could also relate to a more serious development like cancer or kidney disease. Be sure to get routine physicals regardless of any symptoms, but make a point of always discussing changes in libido with a medical professional who may be able to rule out serious health problems.

  1. Not getting enough exercise

Finally, if your exercise routine has fallen by the wayside (or you don’t have one at all), consider getting back on track. Exercise has been shown to boost libido. The magic combo is engaging in heart-elevating cardio activity for at least 30 minutes.

Becoming a Fashion Stylist

Chances are if you’re following my blog that you’re quite into fashion, you probably follow a bunch of fashion blogs and probably dress pretty well, you get texts from your friends in changing rooms asking your opinion on a piece, you’re friends love borrowing your dresses and seem to never return them…

Well I was like you once, absolutely loving everything fashion – yet doing a day job that I didn’t really like. Then I realised that there are fashion stylist courses where you can become a personal stylist and they only take 12 months to complete.

I thought that personal stylists were a dream job that no one could really get, but it turns out that there is a strong demand for this work and the industry is growing. So there is lots of work out there for qualified and talented people.

There are also a million different avenues you can take it, I chose to become a blogger and style local people needing personal styling help. Although many choose to do online personal styling or celebrity styling or styling for fashion shoots and big brands. The opportunities are endless…

If you think you could do this kind of work and would love it, then find a course provider near you. They operate in most major cities and some provide online courses.

Getting in touch with my spiritual side

So recently I’ve been on a bit of a mission to get in touch with my spiritual side… some recent events in my life have caused me to look for some meaning in life and think about the bigger picture of life rather than focusing on the day to day rat race.

So I’ve signed up to a local yoga studio, I’ve been practicing meditation every morning (almost every morning) and I’ve been getting some reiki treatment from a local Reiki Practicitioner in Melbourne.

For those that know me this is a huge change to my previous self, and some of my friends are wondering if I’ve completely lost it. Maybe I have… but maybe I’m now just realising that there is more to life than what society tells us is important; getting married, buying a house in a nice area, getting a promotion, having a baby all that stuff.

Not to say that having a family isn’t important, but sometimes we get so caught up in these life goals that we forget what makes us happy and what makes us healthy.

In order to be truly healthy, you have to be looking after your physical health, emotional health, mental health, and spiritual health.

These realisations have made me a much better person I believe and I plan on continuing to develop my spiritual side. I’ve never been religious but I do believe there is something greater than ourselves I do believe that our spiritual side needs to be taken care of to truly be happy and healthy.

Is anyone else out there having a similar realisation?

How to Choose a Wedding Venue

For many couples, picking the right wedding venue that will be easy for their guests is a big deal. Settling on a venue is an expensive affair. It sets the tinge of the wedding. A wedding venue is a meat in a wedding sandwich but many are frustrated with the reservation process. Below are a few tips that will help you choose a wedding venue that is right for you.

There are a few ways to go with choosing the location, you can try and choose the most beautiful wedding destinations so that the ceremony and photos are amazing, or you can choose a venue that suits logistically to make it easy for the majority of people to make it (after all, it is important that your closest family and friends can all come). You can also make the decision based off a destination of importance for you as a couple, maybe you might take it to a town where you grew up or met.

Number of Guests

The number of guests you foresee will help you to determine how big a venue you will need. It is, therefore, critical that you come up with an estimate of your number of guests so that you can plan your budget on time.

Weather is a weighty factor you need to consider if you’re planning to have a garden wedding ceremony. The weather is less authentic if you’re planning an outdoor event and may turn cold or wet. To avoid embarrassment, have an alternative to either a tent or an inside space in case the skies open up. In essence, consider the season which you are planning your ceremony.

Special Requirements

Some places have strict rules and regulations. There are some locations which prohibit smoking and alcohol. If your guests drink and smoke, pick that location which doesn’t restrict the two. If dancing and a big band are censorious, limit yourself to those places that can lodge them. Think about children, disabled guests and seniors too. Identify all special factors that are relevant to your event prior the material day.

If you’re going to pick 1 element of a wedding that has the biggest impact on how ‘good’ the day is, the wedding venue would have to be right up there as the most important, so don’t stuff it up… 🙂

The usual wedding tradition of buying wedding dress involves walking into the store with your mother, trying on different dresses with the assistance of a sales person and seeing if it fits your expectation.

Another way would be by few clicks of a button on your computer and having the dress  brought over to your house where you can try it on. One good thing about this is,you would comfortably try on the dress and accessories without feeling someone is constantly watching you and making you uneasy

When buying a wedding dress online it is important upon put certain things into consideration

Your body measurement

Before ordering for a dress online male sure you have your correct body measurement. If you are unsure how to measure yourself accurately, let someone who’s able to do that for you.

Be sure about the stores policy

Have an idea about what the stores return policy is before ordering for a dress. Not to fret, most stores have a standard return policy in place.

The kind of style and texture you want

While you may not be a wedding fabric connoisseur, it is advisable you make researches and know the various textures and kinds of styles that are put they and which online store carries such

Be on the lookout for designer gown on sales

Isn’t it every brides dream to see snatch a designer dress for a little token? Yes it is,  you should be on the lookout for one and ready to act as quick as possible to get it before the next bride does.

Wedding size is different from normal clothing size.

Most wedding gown designers don’t use the actual clothing size when it comes to making their dresses. Keep this in mind when buying and be sure to learn more about the wedding sizing if you don’t know about it already.

Be careful scammers

This is one major point I can’t overemphasize. Always be careful when buying online, leave any sites that looks suspicious or asks you to pay using cheque or wired money.
